BODEGA on ARKITIP

Bodega™ is a curated collection of large scale, eco-friendly, temporary indoor art. The concept is to make the art of emerging and established artists alike, affordable and available to the public. Each piece is delivered as a complete package for the consumer and includes ready-to-apply art piece and tools for installation. They have teamed up with some killer artists such as Barry McGee, Cody Hudson, Michael Leon, Mike Giant, and Steven Harrington as well as a few others.  Pretty cool concept at a good price.  You can purchase them here.

“ShakeItPhoto” Polaroid Emulator App

This new $0.99 iPhone photography application is getting a lot of use on my phone right now.  It turns your iPhone camera photos into realistic-looking polaroids (see some of my sample shots below).  A fun little aspect of the software is that when you save the image, it drops the image down from the top of the screen and makes the instant polaroid camera sound, then while the phone is processing your image, you can actually shake the phone and watch the image develop (like a real polaroid).  Pretty funny, it does a really good job though emulating the polaroid look.  See more of my shots here.

ReVisit...

After spending almost 3 weeks traveling all over Europe i'm finally really starting the enormous and intimidating process of editing through the 11,000 photos we shot on the trip.  Luckily we were somewhat editing each day for the blogs, but now I'm jumping into the process of working through and retouching for fine art purposes and even more so background images I will be using for compositing in my commercial work.  While going through everything, I keep finding these great images that I want to share, so here are a couple more from Cinque Terre and waiting for the boat to take us up the coast a ways.
